Designed to Dream

is an Initiative of Kids Therapy by Design that was birthed out of the need for improved education opportunities for children who reside in low-income environments and present with developmental delays.

Statistics

Statistics indicate that 1 in every 5 students will drop out of high school between the 10th and 12th grade.

Incarceration

Approx. 68% of individuals incarcerated in a state prison present with a speech and Language disorder

Mission

Designed to Dream’s mission is to break generational cycles of illiteracy and poverty through the early identification of developmental delays and development of normal speech and language skills to encourage both children and adults to not allow society or the environment that they currently reside in to dictate their ability to dream. It is our belief that we were all Designed to Dream and it all starts with language.

The mission of Designed to Dream is currently being supported by Kids Therapy by Design and is currently providing the following services to alleviate growing percentages:

Speech and language Screening
Provided D2D Intervention (Speech Therapy Intervention Services)
Inclusion Services (Social Groups)
Community Resources and Education Workshops
